My Very Own Black Beauty, AKA Beauty, is a simply stunning black mare with a tiny white star, whose temperament is as amazing as her appearance! Standing at 14.2, this 2002 Welsh/TB mare possesses incredible versatility for both children and small adults and across disciplines! This super sweet girl has logged in many show hours and boasts of many championships in both the hunter ring (Pleasure, Short-Stirrup, Hunter O/F, 2008 VA State Reserve Champion in Regulars Broodmare Division) and in the dressage arena (Intro: 69%, Training: 67%). During the last 7 years at our farm (I bought her as an unbroken 2 y/o), Beauty has kindly served all levels of riders as an invaluable, patient teacher to children and adults! Beauty is a kid-broke mount! She will take care of you, in the ring, on the trail, at the shows, where she will stand tied or be held quietly without moving for hours on end! Avonmora (Welch: From the Great River) Mister Mercedes, AKA Mercedes, is a 14.1 gorgeous grey Welsh/QH pony gelding who I raised from my personal dressage mare and a Farnley Finesse Welsh Stallion. Mercedes has phenomenal movement, the best trot I have ever enjoyed on any horse or pony, and a kind, loving, willing temperament to match! At his first show this past summer, Mercedes calmly and confidently clean swept the Pony Pleasure Division out of 18 fancy ponies! He is for sadly for sale due to my career change out of the horse business. Although just turning 5 in Jan. 2012, Mercedes has extensive knowledge and stability as a "daily handled baby", training, attending shows to hang out, trail-riding, and kindly giving lessons to all levels of riders. Mercedes has a huge lopey canter, jumps calmly, and has shown some natural changes in the ring. Mercedes is quiet and easy to ride, he can go on the buckle or frame up nicely, having basic dressage training also, and one dressage show under his belt. Avonmora (Welch: From the Great River) In The Twilight Zone, AKA Twilight, is a 13.1 (big bodied) adorable bay medium Welsh pony gelding who I raised from a competitive Stonecroft hunter pony mare and a Farnley Finesse Stallion. Twilight is a super sweet boy - A quiet, easy ride for all! At his first show, Twilight calmly and confidently won his flat and received 2 seconds o/f in Short Stirrup out of 12 ponies. His canter stride is perfect down the lines, jumps confidently, and has natural changes. Twilight is also a willing and patient partner for all levels of children in lessons, possessing an incredible temperament! He loves to do his job with young riders on his back! He figures out what he's supposed to do quickly and takes such good care of his riders as a trusted kid-broke mount! Twilight is quiet on trails and cantering/jumping in fields. He has impeccable ground manners, handled by children easily for farrier, bathing, clipping, loading, and is sound and up-to-date on everything. Twilight goes barefoot and is a very easy keeper!
